Terms of Business
The terms and conditions highlighted below are up to date as of 2026. If there is a clause in which you are unsure, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Data Protection – The personal data provided by families is held by S. Webb & Son Ltd. All information is kept securely and is confidential. It will only be used for the purposes of our services and processing payments. All phone calls made to us are recorded with the exception of taking payments where call recordings will be turned off. Whilst S. Webb & Son Ltd make all the final arrangements for a funeral, we may need to pass on your details to third parties who are also carrying out services for you. These third parties may/may not contact you directly where necessary.
We ask for full payment no later than 4 days before the arranged funeral date.
Termination – We reserve the right to terminate our services if the funeral account is not paid before the agreed funeral date. If you are to terminate our services with 4 days or less before the arranged funeral date an admin fee of up to £1,000 will be payable by the named person on the account. We are able to help with funding towards funeral payments through Funeral Safe.
Disclosure of Interests – The ultimate owner of the business is S. Webb & Son Ltd. We have no business or financial interest in a price comparison website which compares Funeral Directors Services and/or Crematoria Services and their respective prices.
We do not make any gratuity payments or any other third-party payments, not related to a cost incurred or a service provided to us by a third party on behalf of us.
We make a once yearly donation from funds collected at our annual Christmas memorial service. A different local charity is chosen each year.
